Preventing Gum Disease with the Use of Natural Herbs

The gums are very important parts of the body that as it functions to hold the teeth in place and acts to protect the root of your teeth. That is why, the health of your gum is very essential since you can possibly do all things associated with its use such as eating, grinding food, sucking, and even smiling.

Pain is terrible especially when it involves your teeth. Gum disease can separate your teeth from the gums when bacteria have taken over them creating spaces caused by the separation. Teeth are advised to be pulled out because of the loss of bone structure. Gums and teeth do not grow back so that it is important to prevent the occurrence of gum disease. Infection should be treated readily and natural herbs can be used but only after consulting a dentist. The following herbs are used as natural remedies in dealing with gum disease: chinacea, bayberry root bark, tea tree oil, oak gall, thyme tea, cayenne pepper, and clove oil. All these herbs possess chemical properties that functions to lessen inflammation and stop the gums from bleeding. These herbs also strengthen the gums to be able to hold the teeth firmly again, preventing gum disease by stopping food debris from forming plaques and accumulate below the gums.
